WELCOME TO WILDER WOOD WANDERERS!

Our adventure gang ❤️ Welcome friends! You’ve caught us in the middle of our adventure story.

When I had my daughter I knew I wanted to show her and teach her all I could about nature and being outdoors. Within 6 months, my world was turned upside down when I became a single mom and realized our adventures would be just the two of us. I was even more determined to show her all I could within our limited means. We did so many day trips, a few overnights and now my wild flower girly has such a love for the outdoors, adventure and trying new experiences.

Fast forward to today. Our family of 2 grew to a family of 4 plus a fur meat ball ☺️ Jeff came into our lives and one of the first places he took us to as a family was Arrowhead Park; a special place for him growing up. I knew he was my forever after that trip.

Since then, we adopted an Olde English Bulldog, moved back to Jeff’s hometown in Muskoka and had a little baby boy (our Wild Thing) and have continued so many adventures throughout our little slice of northern heaven. Teaching them both about the outdoors (while learning even more ourselves!) and experiencing all this area has to offer.

I was craving a space where I could keep our family’s highlight reel so I could remember all our adventures and the locations we’ve visited. And so the idea for Wilder Wood Wanderers was created. A name created with a nod to our family name, a nod to the nick names I have for the kiddos, a nod to a name I’ve had in my heart if we were lucky enough to keep growing our family. And a nod to how we like to explore; we pick a spot and tend to wander off the path a lot lol.

This is a space for us to document and share our adventures and hopefully inspire you to get out there with your own Wild Wanderers ❤️
