Happy Birthday Cali!! What a sweet girl she is :) Don’t worry little one .. not everyone likes the cake smash :p Seriously though guys! It’s like 50/50 whether a baby actually likes the cake and has fun digging into it. The fun in the photos is their reaction! BUT if you do want your little one to really enjoy it, try doing a mini version at home so your baby knows what to expect. Make it a game and have some fun. Sometimes, they just don’t like it no matter what. Sometimes they would just prefer a burger or a pizza!! Hahah you never know ;P

Either way, I love all the reactions we get. And we always get some absolutely adorable photos regardless!

Also, I should mention, this was a Petite Portrait. We started with a quick portrait of Cali, and then headed into a quick cake smash. These sessions last about 15 minutes and are a great way to quickly capture a few memories of your little one’s milestone.
